Matèria and MONITOR are pleased to present a collaborative booth within the Discovery section of Art Brussels 2026, dedicated to the dialogue between two of their represented artists: Francisca Valador (Matèria) and Thomas Braida (MONITOR).

  The idea for this joint presentation originates from a moment of serendipity. Both galleries, located a few doors apart in the Roman neighbourhood of San Lorenzo, inaugurated solo exhibitions by Valador and Braida on the same evening in the spring of 2025. This coincidental alignment revealed a surprising and fertile resonance between their practices - one that we now wish to formalize and expand upon within the context of the fair.
