He is one of the artists shortlisted for the 2024 Future Generation Art Prize. He is represented by Matèria and Pedro Cera. He currently lives and works in Torino.
Bekhbaatar Enkhtur's practice focuses on the various expressions of the medium of sculpture and, more generally, on the processes of shaping matter and its interaction with space and the viewer. He conducts his artistic research around the idea of change, as an intrinsic truth common to all things; aiming to bring out the inherent qualities of the materials used, both organic and inorganic, by giving them a semblance of perceptible life.
